You will need either an Android or iOS (Apple) device to use Instagram. Recently Instagram
has upgraded it online website to enable you to control you account a little more.

Installing the App instagram

From your device locate the application store. Depending on which device you have the name of the app store will have a different name and look.
Android

1. From your device tap on the Play Store app.

2. Search for and download the Instagram app. It is free!

iOS(Apple)

1.From your iOS (Apple) device tap on the App Store app.

2. Enter Instagram in the search box

3. Tap on iPhone Apps.

4. Install the Instagram app. It is free!

Signing up for Instagram

Create a username and password exclusively for Instagram or you can use you Facebook information.
 Enter your name and email address. Entering your phone number is optional.
 Instagram will give you the option to connect with your friends on Facebook and also the contacts on your phone. If you choose to skip these steps Instagram will suggest some people to follow. Your account will have no activity if you do not follow other members.
 Click register or done.

When you open Instagram you will automatically be in the home page of your account.

Here you will see any photos you or the people you’re following have posted.

What is Instagram?

Instagram was first introduced as application software for iPhones in October 2010. In April
2012 the Android market was welcomed into the Instagram community. In September 2012
Facebook purchased Instagram for one billion dollars. Instagram currently has 90 million active
users monthly. Instagram allows its users to express themselves through photography. In
order to use Instagram you must have a device running the Android or iOS (Apple) operating
system. Instagram is not available on Windows or Blackberry devices.
